Get The Facts
On March 23, 2010, President Obama signed into law a health care reform bill of unprecedented size, intrusiveness and expense. The law has been struck down by courts, is under assault in Congress and, most importantly, is hated by the American people. In short, it needs to be repealed. Here are just some of the reasons why:

  • $2.6 trillion in new spending
  • A mandate requiring individuals to purchase health insurance
  • A mandate for employers of more than 50 people to provide coverage or pay a fine
  • $500 billion in cuts from Medicare over the next 10 years
  • A tax on investment income
  • A tax on medical aid devices
  • A Medicare tax increase
  • The hiring of 16,000 new IRS agents to collect the new taxes imposed by the health care reform bill

Our first priority is to repeal the many intrusive and dangerous portions of this bill. We can do better. Americans deserve a health care system that empowers individuals, encourages innovation and is funded on the backs of future generations.

Instead we need health care reform that does the following:

  • Gives cost controls to a patient and their doctor, not to Washington bureaucrats
  • Allows employers, communities and other groups to self-organize into health insurance purchasing groups
  • Ensures those with pre-existing conditions have guaranteed access to affordable health care
  • Enables Americans to buy insurance across state lines
  • Ends junk lawsuits in order to reduce the practice of defensive medicine

With your help and the help of the more than 1.1 million Americans who have already joined our cause, our voice will be heard in Washington.
