April 10, 2011Budget deal includes Senate vote on Health Care

According to this CNN article, the budget deal reached late Friday night to keep the government operating included a provision that the Senate vote on repeal of Washington’s massive health care reform law.

The House has already passed a law to repeal the oppressive law, but in the past, leaders of the Democratically-controlled Senate said they wouldn’t allow a vote on the measure.

A Senate vote would not only be a great opportunity to discuss the most controversial parts of the law, but would also force Senators to declare where they stand.

We’ll be watching closely and will, of course, keep you informed.

We have serious problems inside Congress. Legislation that should never have been considered, much less passed was made into law so that America could "find out" what was in it. That amounts to carte blanch legislation. Congress was never given the power to "rule" the people or America's industry. What happened America???
